DataManagement, Inc. is headquartered in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Theyprovide full scale network integration planning for large companies across many industries. Some of their customers are ABN-AMRO,  Kmart, Johnson Controls, Volkswagen, and Delphi. Data Management assigns a team to every project. These teams may consist of telecommunications design, consultants, technicians and CAD design. Data Management's staff has a vast expertise in network infrastructure, along with design, engineering, consulting and project management. This has allowed thento implement complete computing and business solutions for their clients.

When DataManagement moved our headquarters recently, one of the major upgrades that had to happen was a move to a more sophisticated phone switch. We plan and implement high-end data networks every day for the Fortune 100, but needed some assistance in choosing the correct phone system to fit our needs. That’s where Transcom entered the picture.

Glenn Yurik and his staff tirelessly met with us to discuss our needs and wants, and recommended a Nortel system that was not only a perfect fit for us functionally, but met our budget requirements as well.

Transcom was there every step of the way for us, making our upgrade seamless. This was extremely important, because if the phones are down, we’re not doing business. With Glenn’s assistance, we prepared an implementation plan upfront and Transcom followed it to the letter. Training followed, and Glenn was onsite like one of our own, helping everyone in our office become familiar with the new system.

Today, we enjoy a system that is feature-rich, including easy conferencing abilities, music on hold, a mobile unit (allowing our receptionist to not be tied to the phone all day), and most importantly Unified Messaging, which allows us to receive our voicemails on Outlook over our VPN from anywhere in the world.
